Another significant and very interesting incident occurred in Samarkand: the driver of a VAZ-2101 decided to perform a drift in the middle of the road, which caused inconvenience to other drivers and turned into a very dangerous situation. The driver, who violated the traffic rules, is now likely to face administrative punishment.
According to the press service of the regional Traffic Safety Department (TSD), this incident was followed up after a video of the event went viral on social media. The video shows the driver of the VAZ-2101 performing a dangerous drift, creating a threat to other vehicles on the road. Law enforcement officials immediately began investigating the case.
As a result of the dangerous maneuver being captured on video and widely spread, the driver was held accountable. After his identity was established, an administrative protocol was filed, and his car was towed to the impound lot. The offender has been fined 25 BRI (10.3 million UZS), and there is also a risk of losing his driving license for a period of 1 to 2 years.
The case is currently being passed to court, and work is being carried out to determine the punishment for the driver. This incident once again reminded the public of the importance of road safety and the need for caution while driving.
