A driver in Tashkent who violated traffic rules and engaged in dangerous drifting has been held accountable. This was reported by Podrobno.uz.
A video circulating on the internet shows a VAZ-2107 vehicle spinning on a slippery road, pulling two individuals with a rope on an improvised sled. The incident occurred late at night on December 21.
According to the press service of the Traffic Safety Department, the driver himself uploaded the video to Instagram. However, the dangerous stunt went out of control—during the drift, one of the individuals attached to the car lost balance and hit a fence before falling into a ditch, while the second individual toppled in the middle of the road.
An administrative report was filed against the driver for violating traffic rules. This offense carries a fine of 25 basic calculation amounts (approximately 21.5 million som) and a penalty of suspension of driving privileges for one to two years.
In a video released by law enforcement agencies, the offender admitted his mistake and promised not to repeat such actions. Prior to this, a similar case was also reported in Samarkand.
The driver of a "Zhiguli" made dangerous maneuvers, lost control, and drove the car off the road. Fortunately, no accident occurred as a result of the incident.
The vehicle was impounded and the offense report was sent to the court for further action.
