In the Yukari Chirchik district of Tashkent region, a memorable and shocking road traffic accident occurred. On August 23, at approximately 07:00, on the 4th kilometer of the A373 “Tashkent–Osh” highway, a Howo model cement-carrying truck with special equipment lost control and collided with a Cobalt car parked on the roadside. After this, a fire broke out in the truck, turning the road section into a dangerous area within a few minutes.
As a result of the incident, the Cobalt car also overturned. One of the passengers in this vehicle sustained injuries of varying severity and was promptly hospitalized. The traffic accident caused significant concern among local residents and other drivers, as weather and road conditions were also challenging.
The Road Traffic Safety Department and the Yukari Chirchik District Internal Affairs Department are currently conducting a pre-trial investigation.
