As a result of a control raid conducted in the Jarkurgan district of Surkhandarya region, it was found that citizen M.K. carelessly cut down a young tree. In response to this incident, actions were taken by environmental control authorities, the National Guard, and public inspectors.
It was revealed that M.K. accidentally cut down the tree while digging a drainage canal. This incident violated environmental regulations, and as a result, an administrative protocol was drawn up based on Article 79 of the Administrative Liability Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and a fine was imposed.
Subsequently, M.K. was fined 10 million 300 thousand soums, and the ecological damage caused to the plant world amounted to 9 million 888 thousand soums. After all calculations, the total fine that M.K. must pay is 20 million 188 thousand soums.
