The head of the school and preschool education department of one of the districts in Namangan region was caught for bribery. This was officially reported by the State Security Service.
It is noted that the department head and two private kindergarten directors jointly conspired and gained the trust of a local citizen. Through their official connections, they demanded 2500 US dollars for appointing this person as the director of one of the state preschool institutions in another district.
During an operational action, first, the head of one of the family private kindergartens was caught at the moment of receiving 2500 US dollars. Subsequently, the operation continued, and the second head of a family private kindergarten was also caught while receiving this sum.
It was later determined that 1000 US dollars of this amount was to be given to the head of the district school and preschool education department. Thus, this official was also caught with physical evidence while receiving the money.
It is reported that criminal proceedings have been initiated against them under Article 168 of the Criminal Code (Fraud) Part 3 “a” and Article 211 (Giving a bribe) Part 1, and investigative actions are being carried out.
At the same time, the head of a branch of the State Cadastre Chamber of one of the districts in Andijan region also abused his official position and gained the trust of a citizen. He was caught with physical evidence while receiving 4000 US dollars for registering 17 sotok of stony land as a non-residential plot in his name. A criminal case was initiated against him under Article 210 of the Criminal Code (Receiving a bribe) Part 2 “c” and pre-trial detention was applied.
