In Jizzakh region, an unusual incident did not turn into a tragedy thanks to the prompt actions of rescuers. On September 4, in the “Qutlugobod” neighborhood of Bakhmal district, a child accidentally fell into a toilet pit in the yard of a house. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the information, the incident occurred at about 16:07. At that moment, the child was alone, and it seemed that there was no way to call for help. However, he used his mobile phone and called the rescue service through the short number “112”.
After receiving the call, the Bakhmal district emergency rescuers immediately arrived at the scene. In a short time, they managed to safely pull the child out of the toilet pit.
It was noted that the child’s condition is good at present. Officials emphasized that the situation was prevented from turning into a fatal outcome only thanks to the timely actions of the rescuers.
Experts reminded parents and residents of the need to cover such dangerous places in advance in their yards and to strictly ensure the safety of children.
The public regarded this incident as a vivid example that the issue of child safety should be taken even more seriously.
