Hidden pharmacy warehouses of three citizens were discovered in the Namangan region. This was reported by the State Security Service.
During an operational event conducted by the State Security Service officers in cooperation with the regional customs administration and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, individuals born in 1985, 1992, and 1993, residing in Uychi, were suspected of illegally selling counterfeit and low-quality medicines.
Their hidden warehouses at five addresses in Namangan and Uychi were inspected. As a result, a total of 102,640 boxes of 1267 types of undocumented medicines produced in China, Russia, India, France, Italy, Turkey, Vietnam, Israel, Poland, Ukraine, Germany, and other countries were found.
Their estimated cost is 7.2 billion soums. In addition to the drugs "Geporin," "Aktovegin," "Hilak forte," "Ursofalk," the drugs "Testosterone" and "Retabolil," which contain potent substances, were also identified.
According to investigations, the drugs were imported from Kyrgyzstan by bypass routes.
A criminal case has been initiated under Articles 186−3 (Production, acquisition, storage, transportation, or sale of substandard or falsified medicines or medical devices for the purpose of sale) and 251−1 (Production, distribution, advertising, demonstration of products promoting narcotic drugs, their analogues, or potent substances that are not psychotropic substances, or the illegal circulation of such substances or poisonous substances) of the Criminal Code.
