In the city of Samarkand, a situation that caused a great stir among the population was noted. According to the "Mahalla" TV channel, on August 24, local mahalla chairmen encountered suspicious actions of two individuals during a regular patrol.
According to reports, the chairmen of the "Navbogchiyon" and "Buston" mahallas saw a bag hidden among plastic containers in a baby carriage. Notably, the cart was headed towards the cemetery. When the bag was opened and examined, it was found to contain a human body.
It was established at the scene that the detained man killed his brother-in-law and tried to secretly bury the body in the cemetery. It is reported that a woman was with him.
The man initially stated in his statement to the investigators that "my brother-in-law came to our house, he died unexpectedly, that's why I wanted to bury him." However, law enforcement agencies, while investigating this version, determined that the incident was a murder.
Law enforcement officers immediately arrived at the scene and detained the perpetrators. The investigation is still ongoing, and no official information has been released regarding the motive for the murder and the punishment for the suspects.
The vigilance and activity of mahalla chairmen Adham Rakhimov and Azam Ostonkulov were especially noted. They were awarded a badge by the Ministry of Internal Affairs for timely reporting to the internal affairs bodies.
This event caused a great resonance among the local population. Many were shocked not only by the cruelty of the crime, but also by the use of a strange and frightening method of concealing the body - a baby stroller.
