In Tashkent region, a family dispute led to serious consequences. According to the press service of the Supreme Court, a woman from Chinaz district, while intoxicated, attacked her husband with a knife and was held accountable.
It is reported that the couple had been drinking alcohol together. After several hours, a quarrel and sharp conflict broke out between them. As a result, the woman lost her patience, grabbed a kitchen knife, and stabbed her husband several times in the back and legs.
As a consequence, the man sustained serious injuries but survived. Law enforcement officers and medical personnel were called to the scene.
During the trial, the woman’s actions received a legal assessment. She was charged under Article 126-1, Part 3 of the Criminal Code — “Domestic violence.” By the court’s verdict, she was sentenced to one year and six months of imprisonment.
Experts emphasize that such incidents show how family conflicts can lead to severe consequences. The combination of alcohol and violence made the situation even worse.
Lawyers and psychologists urge the public to be cautious, resolve disputes peacefully, and act responsibly.
