In the Samarkand region, a person was exposed for taking a bribe in exchange for an artificial increase in the amount of pensions. This was reported by the State Security Service. The operational event was conducted in cooperation with the employees of the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office.
It was revealed that the head of a limited liability company in Pastdargom district had promised to increase the pension amounts for two citizens. He wanted to work "halfway" and demanded $2,000 to bring their monthly pension to 2.5 million soums.
According to the investigation, he prepared false documents in order to artificially increase the work experience of citizens. Through this, he portrayed them as having worked for many years at the enterprises where he had been keeping his accounting records. For this, he also contacted and attempted to reach an agreement with an employee of the "Inson" social services department in the Pastdargom district.
But his plan didn't work out. During an operational event conducted by the State Security Service and Department employees, he was caught red-handed accepting $1,900 as a bribe.
According to information, this person may have previously been engaged in providing "assistance" to citizens and attempting to obtain material benefits. Currently, investigative actions have begun, all details are being studied.
During the event, the documents, funds, and evidence confirming the accusation were fully processed. According to investigators, this situation is being assessed very seriously, as it is considered not only a bribery, but also a crime that undermines trust in the state pension system.
This situation related to bribery caused widespread public discussion. Many believe that the fact that such individuals violate human rights solely for material gain poses a danger to society.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against the accused, and the investigation is ongoing. After the court's decision, his fate will be known.
