An incident at School No. 71 in the Kushrabot district of the Samarkand region has drawn public attention. According to reports, a school employee was dismissed for raising her hand against a primary school student, vilmaktab.uz reported.
On October 6, around 09:30 a.m., the school’s human resources manager, K.S., heard a complaint from her child during recess. Her child said that a classmate had hit him, and in anger, the mother entered the classroom and struck the student.
Soon after, the situation came under the supervision of law enforcement authorities. A medical examination was ordered to determine whether the child had sustained injuries. The results confirmed that the student had suffered minor bodily harm.
Following the incident, the regional Department of Preschool and School Education announced that K.S.’s employment contract had been terminated. In addition, the deputy director for moral and educational affairs received a disciplinary penalty for failing to ensure compliance with the school’s internal conduct rules.
This incident once again highlights the importance of communication culture, patience, and careful treatment of children in educational institutions. Raising children requires not only knowledge but also respect and kindness.
