Another case of illegal transportation of animal bones was uncovered in the Zangiata district of the Tashkent region. According to law enforcement agencies, about 3.5 tons of donkey and cattle bones were seized while stored in a truck.

The inspection was carried out during a raid conducted after citizens' appeals with the participation of the Tashkent region quarantine measures support group, regional veterinary specialists, and prevention inspectors. During the inspection, a large number of bones were found in bags inside the truck.

According to preliminary information, these bones were collected from landfills in the Kasan district of Kashkadarya region. In his testimony, the driver stated that he was transporting the bones for a fee, but could not provide any veterinary or sanitary documents.

Therefore, the discovered bones were handed over to the relevant organizations, processed, and destroyed in accordance with sanitary regulations.

Currently, a protocol has been drawn up on this fact by the Tashkent regional quarantine measures support group on the basis of the relevant articles of the Code of Administrative Responsibility.

Experts emphasize that such situations pose a serious threat to sanitary safety. Improperly stored or without veterinary supervision, animal remains can cause the spread of various diseases. Therefore, citizens are advised to immediately report such cases to the relevant authorities.
