A criminal group involved in selling synthetic drugs via Telegram was exposed in Tashkent, the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs reported.
According to the information, as a result of rapid operations conducted by law enforcement officers in the Yunusabad and Mirobod districts, the suspects were detained. A total of 109 grams of synthetic drugs were found and seized as material evidence.
The investigation revealed that the group had opened a “store” on Telegram, where they accepted orders, placed the drugs, and organized a courier delivery system. Their activities were carried out entirely online.
As a result of the actions taken, the operation of the criminal network was stopped. A total of 545 units of synthetic substances and illegal products worth approximately 131 million soums were confiscated.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 273 of the Criminal Code (“illegal production, storage, and distribution of narcotic substances”). The suspects have been taken into custody, and investigative actions are ongoing.
The Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs is taking all necessary measures to identify the entire network and completely eliminate the distribution chain.
