In the Fergana region, disciplinary action was taken against a kindergarten teacher who asked children inappropriate questions, reported the Regional Department of Preschool and School Education.
A video circulated on social media showed the teacher asking children, “What smell comes from your dad?”, conducting an oral survey. It was found that the incident took place at State Kindergarten No. 1 in the Furqat district.
During the inspection, it was revealed that the teacher, S.O., conducted this survey independently, without it being part of the educational program, and posted the video in a Telegram group created for parents.
She was interviewed and admitted that she had not considered the consequences of her actions. In addition, her work documentation and activities were fully reviewed, and several shortcomings were identified.
As a result, the teacher provided a written explanation and received a disciplinary punishment in the form of a reprimand.
According to the department, this case was considered a violation of pedagogical ethics, and other teachers were warned not to repeat such mistakes.
