Golden House Property Group has issued its official response to reports about violations of consumer rights. It was stated that the information announced by the Committee for the Development of a Competitive Environment and Protection of Consumer Rights regarding the inspection of the construction company's activities, as well as the discussions that have arisen on social media and in mass media in this regard, have been commented on.
In particular, it is emphasized that the clauses in the company's contract regarding cancellation of the contract at the client's initiative and those related to disseminating false information were combined and misinterpreted. The clause on "deliberately spreading false information that damages the business reputation of the company" is specified separately and is aimed solely at protecting trade secrets and the company's business reputation.
This clause does not restrict customers' legitimate appeals, complaints, and justified criticism. The company also notes separately that this clause does not apply to the lawful actions of clients and does not provide for any fines in this regard.
Golden House Property Group strictly complies with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in particular, laws on the protection of the rights of customers and partners. Currently, Golden House Property Group, in cooperation with the Committee and other relevant organizations, is working on providing a full and clear explanation of contract clauses and clarifying their purpose.
