An unexpected situation was recorded in the Navoi region - a check for 2 billion soums was issued for two peppers. The Ministry of Justice reported the incident.
According to the information, such a situation occurred due to a simple mistake by the shop seller. Although he was supposed to issue a check for 20 thousand soums worth of pepper products, due to a misunderstanding, he deposited 2 billion soums into the payment office.
Due to this mistake, a large amount of tax debt has accumulated on the entrepreneur's account. After the incident, the entrepreneur appealed to the tax office with a request to cancel the overpaid amount. However, the regional Tax Department refused on the grounds that "check data cannot be edited."
After that, the entrepreneur decided to demand his payment by law. He filed a complaint with the Navoi Inter-District Administrative Court against the regional Tax Department. After the court investigation, the actions of the officials were deemed contrary to the requirements of the law, and a decision was made in favor of the entrepreneur.
This incident once again showed how even a small number of errors can affect the activities of entrepreneurs. Experts emphasize the need to improve electronic accounting systems and legally establish the possibility of correcting check data to prevent such situations.
