A court case regarding sexual harassment was considered in Tuproqqal’a district, Khorezm region. This was reported by a UPL correspondent.

According to the information, on October 24, a local citizen D.A., born in 1998, wanted to get acquainted with citizen S.R.

He sent messages to the girl via WhatsApp messenger, expressing his wish to communicate with her.

"Despite the girl’s refusal, the man continued to write to her. He suggested that no one would know about the conversation and proposed to arrange secret meetings," according to court materials.

During the investigation it was revealed that D.A. is married and has children.

In court, he admitted that he was disgraced in front of his family and asked the court for leniency. According to the court decision, the man was detained for 5 days.
