A house in Tashkent was illegally connected to electricity


An illegal use of electricity was detected in Tashkent. This was reported by the press service of "Uzenergoinspeksiya".

During a control event conducted by employees of the Tashkent regional department of "Uzenergoinspeksiya", a multi-storey building belonging to the "P. K.

R." LLC in the Bektemir district was inspected. During the inspection, it was found that various devices in this multi-storey building had been arbitrarily connected to the power supply, and a large amount of electricity had been used illegally.

According to preliminary calculations, the amount of damage caused was 2 billion 543 million soums. All the materials collected regarding the case were sent to law enforcement agencies.

Based on the inspection results, a legal assessment will be given to the actions of the responsible persons. According to Part 4 of the "Theft" article of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, those found guilty may face up to 15 years in prison.
