A video of drivers quarreling over passengers at a bus stop in Andijan has spread widely on social media. The regional Department of Internal Affairs gave an official comment on this situation.
According to the information, the incident occurred on November 5 of this year at 15:35 in the Uzbegim neighborhood of Andijan city, in the "Avtoshox bekat" area located on Amir Temur Street. Two drivers operating on the Andijan-Kokand route - 33-year-old A.Kh., a resident of the Asaka district, and 32-year-old O.Kh., a resident of the city of Kokand, Fergana region, entered into an argument after a disagreement.
It was reported that no other citizens were injured during the incident. However, due to the escalation of the situation during the altercation, the incident was taken under control by internal affairs officers.
Based on the results of the investigation, a protocol was drawn up against the actions of citizen O.Kh. on the basis of Article 183 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. The Andijan City Criminal Court sentenced him to 15 days of administrative arrest.
Currently, the situation is stable, and the bus stop continues to operate as usual.
It should be recalled that earlier it was reported that a 38-year-old man was stoned to death in the Fergana region as a result of a dispute after an animal entered the park.
