In Samarkand, four judgments were issued on one case in one day

A judge from Samarkand issued four different verdicts in one day. According to the Ezgulik Society, the chairman of the Samarkand District Court, Nosir Rajabov, issued four different verdicts in a single criminal case. The head of the society, Abdurakhman Tashanov, noted that while the barcodes in all documents are correct, there are significant differences between them.

Tashanov assessed this situation as a clear sign of deep problems in the judicial system. In his opinion, due to increased supervision over some judges, it seems they are trying to mislead each other. "The value of legality is declining, and the practice of attracting fake victims is expanding in some regions," he added.

Earlier, officials reported that the Samarkand region ranks second in the country "in terms of the rule of law." However, human rights activists emphasize that such cases seriously undermine trust in the judicial system and ask the president to personally take control of the situation.
