A major raid on utility debts has begun in Tashkent

Comprehensive measures are being implemented in the Tashkent region to reduce accumulated debt for the use of energy resources and utilities. Taking the situation in the region under strict control, special working groups were created at the initiative of the head of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement, O. Bozorov.

Employees of the regional administration and all district and city departments were involved in this composition, consisting of 22 groups. Their main task is to reduce debt for used energy resources, water supply, heating, waste disposal services, and other utility payments.

This action is aimed not only at collecting debts, but also at preventing temporary disconnections of the population from services and stabilizing the existing system.

Concrete results on recovered funds

According to the Bureau, during the past period of this year, practical actions were taken on 12,229 enforcement documents related to the collection of 14.4 billion soums in favor of BCCs (management service companies).

Of these, 10,272 cases were fully enforced, and a total of 11.5 billion soums in debt were recovered.

These figures are important for the stable implementation of utility payments in the region without the aforementioned problems.

Deductions from wages

Currently, 615 enforcement documents totaling 1.1 billion soums have been collected for the monthly salaries and other official income of debtors.

This is used as a mechanism that allows for the gradual repayment of debt without additional difficulties.

Work to be done

Currently, enforcement proceedings are underway on the remaining 2,027 writs of execution totaling 2.9 billion soums. The groups are working with debtors, conducting inspections at their addresses, carrying out explanatory work, and carrying out technical inspections.

These actions are expected to ease the burden on the regional utility system, increase the financial stability of enterprises, and improve the quality of services provided to the population.

In conclusion, the large-scale measures implemented in the Tashkent region will serve to strengthen strict control and the rule of law in the communal system and ensure stability in the coming months.
