In Uzbekistan, the sale of bananas with viral blood has been denied

In Uzbekistan, reports that "blood infected with AIDS is being injected into bananas with syringes" quickly spread on social networks. Doctors categorically denied these claims, dissuading the public from unfounded anxiety.

Experts say that the red liquid or mass from bananas is a sign of a fungal or bacterial disease common in tropical regions. Such bananas are not edible, but this has nothing to do with the virus.

The doctor emphasizes:

"True blood is not injected into bananas. Firstly, where does this amount of blood come from? Secondly, HIV cannot be transmitted through the digestive tract. Such a situation has never been recorded in scientific literature."

It is known that HIV is transmitted in only three ways: unprotected sexual contact, blood-related medical procedures, and mother-to-child transmission. Because the banana peel is punctured, it rots quickly, and the virus cannot survive in the external environment for long - this alone indicates that the rumors are false.

The note also states:

"Such fake news spreads quickly not only in our country, but also in many countries that do not grow bananas."

Previously, it was reported that videos claiming that people with AIDS are putting needles in their seats to harm others were also fake, and young people who spread them were identified.
