After the precipitation, a relative warming of the weather is observed in the regions of the republic. Due to this background, inversion processes in the atmosphere are becoming more active. Uzhydromet specialists officially announced this.
It is noted that this meteorological situation is clearly manifested in many regions of Uzbekistan, especially in the city of Tashkent, Samarkand and Jizzakh regions. In the morning, evening, and night hours, limited air circulation is observed in the lower layers of the atmosphere, which slows down the processes of natural exchange.
As a result, the spread of pollutants is becoming more difficult, and unfavorable meteorological conditions are being created. In particular, fine dispersed particles - PM2.5 and PM10 - accumulate in the lower atmospheric layers. In some areas, an increase in the amount of these harmful particles has been noted, which can negatively affect air quality.
Experts note that the natural-geographical location of Uzbekistan, relief features, and synoptic factors contribute to the frequent occurrence of inversion processes. Therefore, the country's territory is among the regions where atmospheric inversion is recorded almost constantly.
According to preliminary forecasts, relatively warm air temperature and the inversion process throughout the republic may persist until the end of the week. Therefore, the population is asked to exercise caution, paying particular attention to factors affecting health.
