A tragedy occurred in Kattakurgan district of Samarkand region after a citizen who graduated from a medical college gave an injection to her friend. Due to lack of experience and an unexpected reaction to the medication, the woman died. This was reported by upl.uzreports.
According to reports, the friends visited a doctor, and one of them was diagnosed with sinusitis. The doctor prescribed a course of injections for treatment, after which the patient asked her friend—an acquaintance who had studied in the medical field—to administer the shots.
After repeated requests, the nurse gave the injection in the basement area of the confectionery workshop where she worked. After the injection, the patient’s condition suddenly worsened, and she died due to reactions related to the drug’s effects.
During the trial, it was taken into account that the nurse did not commit the crime intentionally and that the injection was administered under pressure from her friend. In the end, she was sentenced to two years of restricted freedom.
