Alisher Qodirov, leader of the Milliy Tiklanish party, commented on an incident related to the death of an Uzbek citizen in Khabarovsk. Reports spread on social media that on December 12, 2025, in the Russian city of Khabarovsk, an Uzbek citizen was brutally beaten by OMON officers and died. This was reported by upl.uzreports.
After that, Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent an official note to Russia’s Foreign Ministry. The Uzbek side is demanding a thorough review of the case, clarification of all details, and legal punishment of those responsible.
Alisher Qodirov also shared his view on the situation and advised Uzbek citizens to leave Russia. On his Telegram channel, he stressed that the situation could become more tense month by month, and that Russian special services suspect people from Central Asia of potential involvement in unrest.
“Use your common sense—leave Russia as soon as possible. No income is worth the tears of children and parents,” Qodirov said.
