In Sergeli, a BYD driver ran a red light and crashed into two cars

On January 7 of this year at around 16:50, on Kipchak Street in Sergeli district (from the Khonobodtepa Street side), the driver of a BYD vehicle drove through a red traffic light and collided with a Nexia-3 that was making a U-turn from a secondary road.
After that, the BYD also hit a parked Cobalt, resulting in a traffic accident. After the collision, the BYD driver panicked, moved a short distance, and stopped. It is noted that he did not leave the scene.
The report said the BYD driver did not have a driver’s license and was a person without vehicle-driving skills.
No one was injured in the incident. An inquiry is being conducted by the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs Road Safety Service.
Road users were urged to strictly follow traffic rules.
