A road traffic accident that occurred in the Sergeli district of the capital, Tashkent, has drawn public attention. As a result of a collision between two vehicles on April 10, a minor girl was injured.
According to the Tashkent City Traffic Safety Department, the incident took place at around 13:50 at the intersection of TXAY–Qumariq streets. A Chevrolet Spark driven by a person born in 2001 collided with a BYD vehicle driven by a citizen born in 1973.
Due to the impact, the BYD driver lost control of the steering, and the vehicle went out of control. As a result, the car hit a girl born in 2012 who was crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing.
Following the accident, first medical aid was provided to the injured pedestrian at the scene by doctors. Additional information about her condition is being уточнed.
An investigation is currently underway regarding this incident. Authorities are examining all circumstances and will provide a legal assessment.
