13 teenagers were prevented from going to Syria in Andijan

As a result of operational measures carried out by law enforcement agencies in the Andijan region, the departure of a group of young people influenced by terrorist ideas abroad was stopped.
According to the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs, a 17-year-old teenager living in the Shahrikhan district, after listening to lectures of extremist content on social networks, fell under the influence of the terrorist organization "Ahli Sunna va al-Jamoa" operating in Syria.
It turned out that the organization's propagandists were in constant contact with him and gave him various instructions. In particular, he created a page on Instagram under the name "Al-Gharib" and distributed extremist video and audio materials.
Through this, he created a virtual group called "Ahiylar" consisting of 13 young people aged 16-19 living in Ulugnor and Shahrikhan districts. Among the members of the group, the calls of jihad, migration, and international terrorist organizations were discussed, and they planned to leave for Syria.
As a result of the measures taken by law enforcement agencies, the activities of this group were suspended, and the departure of 13 young people abroad was prevented.
A criminal case has been initiated against members of the public under Article 2441, Part 3, Clause "g" of the Criminal Code, and an investigation is currently underway.
