In a Tashkent kindergarten, a caregiver who beat a child for not sleeping was suspended

In a private (non-state) kindergarten in Tashkent, a caregiver who beat a child was dismissed from work. This was reported by “Millar”. The incident sparked wide public discussion after a video spread on social media.
According to reports, the incident occurred on January 22 of this year at the non-state preschool educational institution “American Daycare” located in the Almazar district. The kindergarten administration stated that the caregiver who treated the child roughly was removed from her position. In other words, the institution took internal measures and did not remain indifferent to the situation.
“Because my child did not sleep during lunchtime, after all the other children had gotten up, the caregiver used rough force against my child, raised her hand and caused his nose to bleed. When they dressed my child, washed his face and hands, and brought him to me, I had already arrived at the kindergarten,” said the child’s mother. According to her, the incident occurred precisely because the child did not sleep during the lunchtime rest.
According to the Tashkent Department of Preschool and School Education, this case is currently under review by the department, and additional information will be provided based on the results of the investigation. It is expected that further details will be announced after an official conclusion is reached.
