US imposes visa restrictions on certain Uzbek citizens

The US State Department announced that it has taken another decisive step against illegal migration chains: visa restrictions have been imposed on individuals in Uzbekistan who have deliberately assisted in organizing entry into the US through illegal channels.
According to the official explanation, this refers to the heads (executives and high-ranking officials) of two Uzbek companies involved in processing tourist visas. Their names were not disclosed, but it is said that these individuals, through travel services, attempted to "clear the way" for citizens of other countries with the intention of illegally entering the USA.
The investigation also mentions another difficult aspect: in some cases, foreigners, including minors, were directed through Uzbekistan's airports and borders to transit points in Central America. There is also information that during subsequent attempts through Central America, many of them were detained for illegal entry.
The most important point: this decision does not mean that "the issuance of mass visas to Uzbeks has been stopped." The restrictions are explained in official statements as being applied specifically to identified individuals. That is, people who follow the law and submit documents correctly don't need a "panic regime" - only those who sell "black schemes" are targeted.
