Captiva hits a pedestrian in Tashkent

A road traffic accident was recorded in the Yashnabad district of Tashkent. On March 5, around 19:10, on Shahrisabz Street, a driver of a Captiva car hit a citizen crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing.
The Tashkent City Traffic Safety Department provided information about the incident. According to them, the injured pedestrian did not seek medical help, and no reports regarding their health have been received so far. Legal procedures and investigations are currently underway.
Law enforcement agencies are urging all road users to strictly follow the rules. It is especially important for drivers to reduce speed and be cautious at pedestrian crossings.
Recently, road traffic accidents have been increasing across the republic. Notably, a fatal accident occurred in Samarkand when an Onix car hit a pedestrian. Also, the public is concerned about the death of a courier under a truck in Tashkent and a tragic incident involving a cyclist in Samarkand.
