A video showing cruel and insulting actions against a woman in Andijan region has been circulated on social networks. The official information was provided by the Internal Affairs Department of the Andijan region.
It was reported that the department conducted investigative actions. During the investigation it was established that a woman born in 1991 in Izboskan district and currently residing in Andijan city planned an offense against another woman born in 1998, accusing her of being in an intimate relationship with her husband.
On December 23, 2025, through acquaintances born in 1995, 2004 and 2001, she brought the woman born in 1998 to the hospital, insulted her with various unlawful actions, and recorded the process on video.
After that, the woman born in 1991 called two familiar men born in 1999 and 1998 to the hospital and ordered them to take this woman to a secluded place and have her hair cut.
As a result, the woman born in 1998, against her will, was forcibly put by five persons into a white Gentra car and taken to a secluded area in the Jivachi mahalla of Andijan district.
There, a man born in 1999 cut off her hair with a clipper. This process was filmed by a woman born in 1995 and later uploaded to social networks.
A criminal case was initiated under Article 137, Part 2, Clause “v” of the Criminal Code (Kidnapping), and the suspect and five persons were detained in accordance with procedural law. Preliminary investigative actions are currently underway.
This criminal case is under special control of the Andijan region prosecutor’s office.
