In the city of Denau, Surkhandarya Region, a 32-year-old man died after being beaten by a group of individuals. This was reported by the regional Department of Internal Affairs.
According to the report, on April 27 of this year, at approximately 5:50 p.m., a conflict occurred in front of a car wash located in the "Bogishamol" neighborhood of Denau between A.U. (born in 1970) and his son A.A. (born in 1994), and their nephew Q.Sh. (born in 1989)—with whom they had a prior disagreement over money—along with his accomplices T.Sh. (born in 1996), X.Sh. (born in 1997), and T.Sh. (born in 1996). As a result, they beat A.A., causing various bodily injuries, and subsequently took him from the scene in a Gentra vehicle.
The victim was admitted to the Denau District Medical Association on the same day. However, despite receiving medical care, he passed away on the night of April 28 due to severe, life-threatening injuries.
Initially, the Denau District Internal Affairs Department initiated a criminal case under Article 104, Part 2, clauses "k" and "e" of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm), and four participants were detained in accordance with procedural rules. Subsequently, the criminal case was reclassified under Part 3, clause "d" of the same article.
