A pre-investigation inquiry is underway regarding the disappearance of a minor near the Sangardak River in the Sariosiyo District of the Surkhandarya Region. This was reported by the regional prosecutor's office.
It is noted that the boy, born on June 25, 2024, and a resident of the Yulduz neighborhood in Termez, went missing in the Sangardak area. The district prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation, and all necessary measures are being taken in cooperation with responsible organizations to find the child. The investigation process is under the supervision of the regional prosecutor's office.
According to reports circulating on social media, the incident occurred on April 26 at approximately 3:00 PM. It is reported that the child went missing when his mother left him unattended for a short time. Following this, his relatives contacted law enforcement and emergency services.
The boy's father stated on social media that unknown individuals are sending him various messages claiming his child is alive. According to him, some users have edited and distributed photos of the child using artificial intelligence, and deleted the correspondence after sending a phone number for contact. The father has requested more serious and urgent attention to the search efforts.
