A tragic incident occurred in the Sariosiyo district of Surxondaryo region. It was reported that a 13-year-old girl was swept away by the Tupalang River, and her body was found several days later.
According to the regional prosecutor's office, a pre-investigation check is underway regarding the incident where a minor, F.M., a resident of the Afrosiyob neighborhood in Sariosiyo district, was swept away by the river.
It is noted that on May 15 of this year, the girl's body was found in the Tupalang River flowing through the Ittifoq neighborhood in Denov district. No external signs of injury were found on the deceased's body.
The forensic medical examination report states that the cause of death was mechanical asphyxia resulting from water entering the upper respiratory tract.
Currently, additional investigative actions are being carried out by the district prosecutor's office regarding this incident.
