Admission processes for the new academic year have begun at non-state universities

The moment thousands of applicants and their parents in our republic have been waiting for has arrived. Today, June 1st, marks the official start of the admission campaign for the new 2026-2027 academic year at non-state higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. This year's processes not only open doors to broad opportunities for our youth but also stand out due to strict requirements for monitoring the quality of education.
This is very important news for our compatriots who want to educate their children in private universities! Stay tuned to our page, as we will provide details on the main conditions of this year's admission, set deadlines, and the latest important changes in the non-state education system!
Four-month admission marathon and accreditation requirement
According to current legal norms, the admission process for students in private higher education institutions in our country traditionally begins in June and lasts until September. Therefore, document submission and registration have officially launched starting today.
However, applicants are required to be very vigilant here. According to existing legal regulations, it is strictly prohibited to admit students to programs that have not passed special state accreditation:
Important warning: Non-state higher education institutions have the right to admit new students only within the framework of educational programs that have passed official state inspection and are accredited. Be careful about applying to programs that lack sufficient capacity!
How quotas are determined and quality control
It is noteworthy that a new order has been in effect in the system since August 1, 2025. According to it, the maximum limit of students that can be admitted is clearly defined for each private university.
University admission quotas are not just arbitrary; they are evaluated objectively based on the following criteria and then approved:
Material and technical base: Capacity of buildings, level of equipment in modern laboratories and classrooms.
Pedagogical potential: Scientific degree and qualifications of the professors and teachers.
Educational software support: Availability of textbooks and digital educational resources that meet international standards.
Admission twice a year: Latest news
Furthermore, a draft resolution was recently presented for public discussion with the aim of taking the quality of non-state educational services in our republic to a new level. This document proposes another convenience for applicants — organizing the admission process twice a year.
If this procedure is officially approved, our youth will have the opportunity to submit documents during the following periods:
Stages | Deadline for completing admission (proposal) |
Stage 1 (Autumn admission) | Every year until October 15 is carried out. |
Stage 2 (Winter admission) | Every year until February 15 is organized. |
It is evident that our state is seriously concerned about improving the quality of education in the private sector and creating the most optimal conditions for students. This will serve to produce highly qualified personnel for our country in the future.
We wish all our knowledge-thirsty applicants good luck and success in their upcoming exams! Follow us for the best, most useful, and hottest news in the education system, dear readers! Stay tuned to our page!
