
The International Chess Federation (FIDE) announced the list of chess players who earned the highest prize money in 2024. Uzbek grandmaster Nodirbek Abdusattorov was also included in this ranking.
At the top of the ranking is Indian classical chess world champion Gukesh Dommaraju, who earned $1,577,842 during the year. The second place was taken by Chinese grandmaster Ding Liren with $1,183,600. Norwegian Magnus Carlsen is in third place with earnings of $639,369.
Nodirbek Abdusattorov ranked 12th, earning $132,981 during the year. This result was achieved by participating in 12 prestigious tournaments in 2024.
