Bahadir Jalolov explained why his fight in Canada was canceled (video)
The fight of Uzbek boxer Bakhodir Jalolov, scheduled for today, February 6, has been canceled. The boxer himself announced this on his social media page.

A professional boxing evening will be held in Montreal, Canada. Uzbek professional boxer Bakhodir Jalolov was supposed to take to the ring in the super heavyweight category against Frenchman David Spielmont. Unfortunately, doctors did not give the Uzbek athlete permission to fight.

“The fight has been canceled. The fight has been canceled due to a minor incident. Both my opponent and I wanted to fight. Unfortunately, the commission did not allow it. I have had this condition since childhood. It happens when I fly to a country or change air,” says the two-time Olympic gold medalist.

Jalolov was currently preparing for this fight in the US city of Indio.

For information, Jalolov has had 14 fights in his professional career, all of which he won by knockout. His last fight was in 2023, when he defeated South African Chris Thompson in the first round at a boxing event in Tashkent. Spielmont had his last fight in 2024, when he knocked out Artem Charniakevich in the 4th round.
