Brazilian footballer Marcelo has officially retired from professional football at the age of 37.
The legendary left-back spent most of his career at Real Madrid, becoming one of the club’s most iconic players. He began and ended his career at Fluminense (2005–2006, 2023–2024). Between 2007 and 2022, he played for Real Madrid, winning numerous titles. In the 2022/23 season, he also had a stint at Greek club Olympiacos.
