Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has spoken about the possibility of a fight with 49-year-old Ukrainian former super heavyweight world champion Wladimir Klitschko.
“I have a few more fights under my contract. I could also fight Rico Verhoeven, but it’s not certain. In addition, Derrek Chisora and Wladimir Klitschko are also among the options. I definitely want to fight my next fight in boxing and I’m ready for any opponent,” Ngannou was quoted as saying by Sportsboxreview.
Recall that Ngannou had his last official fight in October 2024. He defeated Brazilian Renan Ferreira in that fight and became the PFL (Professional Fighters League) heavyweight champion.
Klitschko, on the other hand, ended his career in 2017. His last fight was against former world champion Anthony Joshua, who he lost by technical knockout in the 11th round. The Ukrainian boxer participated in 69 fights during his career. He won 64 of them and lost 5 fights. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
