Bakhodir Kurbanov elected president of the Uzbekistan Football Association

The candidates for the position of President of the Football Association of Uzbekistan submitted by the members of the association were checked for compliance with the Election Code and the Charter of the Association with the participation of members of the Election Committee.

In accordance with Article 30, Clause 4 of the Charter of the Association, the delegates nominated Bahodir Kurbanov for the position of President of the Football Association of Uzbekistan.

In accordance with the Charter of the Association and the Election Code, Bahodir Kurbanov was elected President of the Football Association of Uzbekistan.

Earlier, it was reported that, in accordance with the charter of the Football Association of Uzbekistan, until the election of the UFA president on February 22, 2025, the candidate of the Chairman of the State Football Association, Colonel General Bakhodir Kurbanov, is being nominated for the presidency of the association.

In late January, the former Chairman of the State Football Association, Abdusalom Azizov, resigned from the post of President of the Football Association of Uzbekistan. His duties were being performed by the First Vice-President of the UFA, Ravshan Irmatov. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
