Guardiola reveals when Erling Haaland will return to action
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has given an update on when forward Erling Haaland is expected to return from injury.

The Norwegian striker suffered a left ankle injury in the FA Cup quarter-final against Bournemouth (2:1). His injury is serious and is expected to be out for 5-7 weeks.

Guardiola said of Haaland's recovery:

"I feel very sorry for our players and Erling, given all the injuries we've had this season. I hope he recovers quickly and can help the team. The doctors have told me it will take five to seven weeks. Hopefully he will be back in time for the end of the season and the Club World Cup."

Haaland is expected to recover in time for the Club World Cup in the United States from June 15 to July 13. If he recovers in the time frame doctors have predicted, he could be a big help to Manchester City in the crucial stages of the season.

City fans are eagerly awaiting Haaland's return to action.
