Not Salah – Alisson named best player of the month

Liverpool have announced their Player of the Month for March, and it’s not Mohamed Salah. According to the club’s press service, goalkeeper Alisson Becker won the individual award.

The 32-year-old Brazilian earned 29% of the fan votes, beating out Salah and midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.

So far this Premier League season, Alisson has played 21 matches, keeping 9 clean sheets and conceding 18 goals.
