Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola once again left Uzbek player Abdukodir Khusonov on the bench for the third consecutive match, zamin.uz reported.
Khusonov was replaced by Nico O’Reilly, who scored in the match against Crystal Palace, justifying his spot in the lineup.
City fell 0–2 behind early but responded with five goals to secure a dominant comeback win.
After the match, Guardiola shared his thoughts:
– Despite being two goals down, we played very well. At halftime, I told the players they were doing great.
– The turning point came when Kevin De Bruyne scored that free-kick. That was the real Kevin — the one we’ve known for years. I know he struggled with issues over the past 18 months. When he’s fully fit, he’s on a whole different level.
– We still have six crucial games left. Once the round ends, we’ll check our standings.
