
Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta thanked his coach, Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola, after the team's victory over Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals.
"I called him this morning. I'm here today because of him. So I want to say a special thank you to him. Guardiola has always inspired me. I had a great four years with him and I'm always grateful to him. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't be here," said Arteta.
It should be recalled that Arsenal won the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals against Real Madrid 2-1. They won the first leg 3-0.
