After the Super League 6th round match against "Bukhara," Nasaf’s head coach Ruziqul Berdiev shared his thoughts.
"In the first half, our attacking game didn’t work out. Except for one shot, we had no other opportunities. We told the players to be attentive during set-pieces. We scored from a set-piece, but due to inattentiveness, we also conceded from a set-piece. I think we showed a game worthy of victory. Congratulations to our fans on the win," said Ruziqul Berdiev.
- Compared to the last game, there were changes in the squad. Was this due to facing Bukhara?
- Based on our squad, we also made changes to our tactical scheme. We tried to select a formation with players who were best prepared. Today's decision was directly related to that.
- Stefan Čolović provided significant help last year during the second half of the season. Today, coming off the bench, he radically changed the game. What do you think about his performance?
- Čolović and Kenjaboev were part of our plans today. They perform particularly well on counterattacks. Čolović is in good shape. He simply didn't fit into today's initial tactical scheme, so we decided to bring him on in the second half to strengthen the game.
- Will Čeran take Nasaf’s next penalties?
- Čeran did not show the performance we expected today. There were shortcomings not only with the penalty but also in his general play. Perhaps it is fatigue, as he has played every match fully. We will continue to trust him. Čeran is one of the best set-piece takers in Uzbekistan.
- Nasaf started their Cup journey a few days ago. After several consecutive Cup victories, last year was unsuccessful. Will the team compete seriously for the Cup this year?
- Last year we aimed for the championship, so the Cup and AFC Champions League were secondary. We must openly admit this. This year will be different. We will strive for success in every competition. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
