This historic night brought the club a huge financial success - a total of 14.7 million euros in ticket sales were recorded. This is an absolute record for ticket revenue for a single match in Italy.

The previous record also belonged to Inter. In the 2023 Milan derby, Inter beat Milan 1-0 in the semi-finals (3-0 on aggregate) and made a profit of €12.5 million from ticket sales.

The new result once again demonstrated the strength of the Nerazzurri's marketing, brand value and fan base. It also showed that top-level games in Italian football are still very popular and economically profitable.
