"From today on, you can call me 'Mister'. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) and all the coaches who have helped me on this path. This has been an important and special stage for me," Del Piero wrote.
It is reported that the 50-year-old skilled former player has obtained a UEFA Pro license. This is the highest category in the field of coaching and gives him the right to manage European clubs and national teams.
Del Piero won the 2006 World Cup with the Italian national team, as well as dozens of trophies and personal achievements with Juventus. Now he will try his hand at the sport he loves as a tactical coach.
