Uzbekistan’s participation in the U-17 Asian Cup was recognized

The AFC Technical Group (the team that analyzes matches and teams' playing styles) that participated in this year's U-17 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia has published its analytical conclusions on the teams that participated in the tournament. This was reported by the press service of the Football Association of Uzbekistan.

During this analysis, the performances of the Uzbek youth national team, the tactics used by head coach Islombek Ismailov in the matches, and the team's overall performance were particularly recognized, and the team's offensive and defensive play, individual and team approaches, and precise actions in finishing the situation were highly appreciated by the technical observers.

“Ismailov’s coaching style was always based on playing an attacking game. He encouraged his team not only to defend, but also to attack and enter the opponent’s penalty area. The main goal of the head coach was to organize an open game in attack and avoid mistakes in defense. During the tournament, the Uzbek U-17 team effectively used fast passing in wide areas, direct and diagonal passes. The team’s actions in set pieces also showed their effectiveness.
