
The 2024/25 Russian Premier League season ended in a very exciting way. In the last, 30th round, CSKA Moscow won a convincing 2:0 victory over Nizhny Novgorod at home and decided the issue of medals.
Fayzullaev assists, CSKA bronze!
The goals for the "army" in the match held at the VEB Arena stadium were scored by Ivan Oblyakov (39') and Artem Shumansky (90'). Uzbek player Abbosbek Fayzullaev, who once again showed himself, managed to score an assist in this match and ended the season on a good note.
This victory allowed CSKA to gain a total of 59 points, and the team took 3rd place in the tournament standings and won bronze medals.

“Krasnodar” is the champion for the first time in history!
The main prize of the season went to “Krasnodar”. They scored 67 points in 30 matches, overtaking “Zenit” in goal difference and became the champion of Russia for the first time in the club’s history. This result is the result of a stable and aggressive game shown throughout the season.
“Zenit” was limited to a silver medal
The St. Petersburg club “Zenit” also scored 67 points, but lost to “Krasnodar” on goal difference. Therefore, “Zenit” was forced to end this season with silver medals.

In the lower part, “Fakel” took last place and was relegated. “Orenburg” and “Akhmat” will fight to stay in the RPL in the playoffs. Nizhny Novgorod finished the season in 13th place, one place above the relegation zone.
